The aim of the current research is to investigate the scientific productions of the field of medical education and other related fields and their historical background with bibliometrics indexes. This research is practical in terms of its purpose. In terms of methodology is survey-analytical with a scientific approach. We used VOS-Viewer and CRExplorer software to draw the maps.  The findings indicate that the trend of received citations of articles in the field of medical education based on the year, by CRA Explorer software from 1975 to 2023. The number of citations has been more than 50,000. America, Canada and England are three important and superior countries in the field of medical education. Comparing the mentioned indicators can be a road map for researchers and those interested in this field, that by adopting quick search strategies, it is possible to access provide articles according to their information needs. Illustrating the subject areas of fields such as medical education can be a road map for the main policy makers of this field. This study contributes to the existing literature by presenting a large-scale bibliometric and visualization-based analysis of medical education research indexed in the Web of Science database.
